Bao Feng Lake and Glass Bridge

Bao Feng Lake

Early start – quick breakfast – and with luggage waiting for car to pick us up to take us to the bus.

He was late – not once but twice – so the 7.00am became after 8.00am – could have had some extra sleep.

Not to worry we were off on the bus to the lake. we were transferred to a National Park bus to take us to the lake. Short walk to the boats – see title photo. The boats were interesting designed to give tourist maximum viewing and looking very Chinese. Nice cruise around the lake with all the guide talk in Chinese – so again Bob had to rely on his translator.

In the pool near the base of the waterfall – this was the sight.
Fishpool
And the people feeding them. This is common in most parks with fishponds.

I love the old Chinese building. The detail is amazing and the curved up corners.

Swing bridge
There was a swing bridge close to the waterfall and this was the sign. Don’t you just love the English translations.
Swing bridge 2
This is the waterfall from the swing Bridge and the next one to looking back to the ground and fish Pond.
Fishpool2
Ruth crossing the stepping stones. We had lots of these across streams in our walks.
Stepping Stones
Time for a countup and back on the bus to the Glass Bridge.

More about it later – as we were not allowed to use camera’s – all my photos are on my cellphone and at the moment I cannot load them onto this computer.
