After a High Speed train ride – 6 hours – we are now in Fuzhou, Fujian.
I should mention that the High Speed train system in China is excellent. The Grade of train we booked meant that we stopped at 6 stations on the way. (Hence the reason for the 6 hours instead of 4 hours) Our top speed was 350 KPH – takes time to get back to that speed and a while to slow down to the next station. The inside of the train was very much like an airplane – good seats and all luggage in the overhead rakes ( bigger than on Planes). Train staff walked the aisle selling food. My lovely wife had made ours – so we were able to eat without having to purchase anything.
This is my second trip to Fuzhou – but this time I will be staying at Ruth’s place. It is colder than last time I was here. Not as cold as it was in Shanghai.
Along the River near Ruth’s place there is a great walk.
